               Art Learning Story
Purpose: To create bold images that represent our ancestors and what they are remembered for?
My ancestor is my grandpa because he loves his family and he loves his wife, kids and brothers and sisters.
I was working on using big bold pictures, so you can see each image clearly.


I used big bold images that represent my ancestor and that is a flag because my grandpa is Samoan and the cross represents my grandpa’s loves to go to church.
I also used an image of a fale so show where he lives.
I am good at using bright colors so that my ancestor art looks even brighter. I used contrasting colours, orange and green so my ancestor stands out.


I need to work on adding some more cultural patterns onto my art like a border.

Taonga Tuiga and the Conch

                                Taonga                         Tuiga and Conch It has lots of feathers, pearls, shells, mirror and some sharks teeth. My Grandpa gave to me when I was a little girl. I care for what the Tuiga and the Conch that my Grandpa gave to me because it belongs to me and my family. It was long time ago he use to gave to me when I was 7 years old. When I was turning 9 I lost it it I really missed the Tuiga but not the conch because it not lost or breaking. I had lots of trouble with it but I still care for it.
