In poetry we have been learning to paint the pictures in our reader's head and make them feel like there were there.
I have been working on 3 poems :
Also my Blackout Poem

I was working on figurative language and that is simile because I used “like” in my poem for example: So ravenous for food like hot toast.
In my cloud poem I have also used personification to describe my cloud for an example:When I cry my rain falls down to feed the plants.

Taonga Tuiga and the Conch

                                Taonga                         Tuiga and Conch It has lots of feathers, pearls, shells, mirror and some sharks teeth. My Grandpa gave to me when I was a little girl. I care for what the Tuiga and the Conch that my Grandpa gave to me because it belongs to me and my family. It was long time ago he use to gave to me when I was 7 years old. When I was turning 9 I lost it it I really missed the Tuiga but not the conch because it not lost or breaking. I had lots of trouble with it but I still care for it. When I was 11 I still remember it when my Grandpa died because he fall from the ladder when he try to get some delicious mango so we took him to the hospital we were to late but I still remember him and I still care for him for what he has done for me and my whole family.
