Titahi Bay Poem

               The Beach

As the sun rises it shines into my eyes.

 I am blinded.

A smell of a delicious BBQ coming from my dad’s cooking.

 It makes me ravenously hungry.

As the waves crash into me the salt stings my eyes.

Circling gulls trapped in cage.

Hot summer day feeling a little bit burnt like hot brown

toast.

Kids laughing out loud with joy.

Fish swimming as fast as the flash.

No more summer for this year.
