In Maths with Miss Ardelle we have been working on measuring angles accurately with a protractor.
The problem was about the The Dab. The sports players did their dab and we had to work out the angle of their dab.
 
The angle of this person’s dab is 130 degrees.
First I predicted that it was greater than 90 degrees because I used my bench marks.
Then I used the other many benchmarks that goes to 180 degrees and found out that the dab didn’t go that far as 180 and it only went up to 130 degrees.
When I used the protractor, I had to match up the cross on the protractor where the two lines intersect and make sure that the line with 0 and 180 is along a base line
My next step is to use the Success Criteria to get some ideas because  you might need some help or you're stuck.

Taonga Tuiga and the Conch

                                Taonga                         Tuiga and Conch It has lots of feathers, pearls, shells, mirror and some sharks teeth. My Grandpa gave to me when I was a little girl. I care for what the Tuiga and the Conch that my Grandpa gave to me because it belongs to me and my family. It was long time ago he use to gave to me when I was 7 years old. When I was turning 9 I lost it it I really missed the Tuiga but not the conch because it not lost or breaking. I had lots of trouble with it but I still care for it.
